MMP Family announces new music.

Fans anticipate a massive hit on the works like the group is notorious for.

After scooping a number of awards last year at the Yarona FM Music Awards (YAMAs), for their hit 'Chooseday' ft Charma Gal, they have been on a mission to secure their spot at the top. One hit at a time.

Born in Gaborone west, the group consisting of  Modiri ‘MOD’ Nage, Tebogo ‘Mzico’ Baipidi and Mothusi ‘Ple’s’ Jackalas which make up the initials MMP Family, their stage name, has been on the music scene for more than a decade, cementing their status as 'Kwaito kingpins.'

The Kwaito hit trio vowed never to make music again if their third studio album MMP On A Mission does not hit the 'Platinum' status.

They use their surroundings and their own personal experiences to help with their music. Their hit 'Problem Child' helped the trio gain fame. Followed by 'Lebala Ka Nna' which was was written by MOD and Ples as they were going through heartbreaks caused by them separating with their girlfriends.

This method helps them connect them with their fans as many of them can relate to what they sing about.

“Our messages are for everyone, from a kid in the township who is hopeless and wondering whether they will make it in life to a mother or father who does not understand that kids can be different.” Said the group in an interview with The Patriot.

They dabble with different tempos including Hip-Hop when they featured Drama Boi in their song Money In The Bank, to show their versatility within the music  industry.

Their album is available on iTunes, Deezer, Tidal and Aspiro, just to name a few.
