In December 2020 Shona gave Ntombi a bottle of Amarula and she was on cloud nine. In a video that Shona shared on his Instagram, Ntombi was seen celebrating as she was carrying the bottle. Shona asked her what she was carrying and she responded by saying "Ntwana Ketlogo bolaya, which translates to "kid I'll kill you," as she is excited about the bottle.

Shona is known for his heart of gold and he always wants his workers to be happy. Last year he bought ice cream for The Queen cast, and the scene was aired on the show. Explaining how this played out Vuyo tweeted "Random story: So the  scene was not planned like that, Shona_Ferguson decided to surprise us with an ice cream truck on set that day, it arrived as we were about to shoot and instead of Russian and chips we jumped at the chance and asked for ice cream instead"

Rockville actress Thembi Nyandeni has also paid tribute to the media mogul saying she enjoyed working with them.

"I have never been treated so well in this industry, I don't want to lie. I'm an honest person but this is the best production. I wish you and your wife the best, and you are going to be our Tyler Perry. You respect us and this is what we have been looking for as artists because we leave our homes and we come here to work so we want to be happy here and when we are not happy here its a problem for us, for me this was a rehab as I healed."

Actor Nhlanhla Mdlalose thanked them for hiring him and wished more success within their marriage.

"Thank you for trusting me with "Sgora" I really enjoy working with you guys. I don't believe there is anyone who is not interested in your marriage, as well as all your business, if he is not there he will be really jealous! May God increase you, protect you, strengthen you, and bless you always"
