It is tough to stay relevant and maintain an admirable level of consistency in this industry because it is ever-evolving. What is hot and trendy today, may not be hot and trendy tomorrow. 

Whether you’re slaying in this life thing, or life is showing you flames, some form of motivation is always needed. 

So who made it onto the list?

1. Khumo Kgwaadira


Khumo Kgwaadira, better known on social media as MissGeeKays.

Khumo Kgwaadira is one young woman who is climbing up the entertainment ladder at a fast pace. She surely is determined to make herself a household name in Botswana. Khumo is also a corporate MC and a voice over artist

Her passion and the zeal for the music industry speaks for its self. Khumo Kgwaadira somehow managed to work her way into radio and television broadcasting and by the look of things, her onscreen presence is nothing short of amazing. 

With over 70 000 followers on her Instagram, Khumo Kgwaadira commands her own presence with her fashion.

Khumo is also the founder of a non-profit foundation she named  Who Am I, which aims to empower the youth in the country. 

2. Maxine Magwape 


Based in Gaborone, Botswana, Maxine is the founder and owner of Maxine Makeup and Hair studio and the face of her brand at her retail store, Maxine Hair and Makeup.

Also her frequent travels with husband Mbakiso Magwape means she gets to take her work overseas often and spread her wings and brand.

Maxine has got over 10 000 followers on Instagram and with her make-up tutorials on You Tube, Maxine is one that many envy and look up to.

Kagiso is married to the most successful singer in Botswana Odirile Sento also popularly known as Vee Mampeezy

While Vee travels the continent performing and preaching, Kagiso raises their children and holds down the fort, looking absolutely phenomenal while doing so. Seriously, we haven't seen a bad picture of her yet.

Marang is currently one of the country's most hard working philanthropists and creatives. If she's not working with the UN on initiatives to make the world a better place, she's spearheading them herself through her own company, Minds for Tomorrow, or giving talks to uplift the girl child.
