The highly-anticipated drama is set to hit our television screens this week on September 6th at 19h00 on SABC 1.

After getting axed from Generations along with the whole cast before it was renamed to Generations: The legacy, many of the viewer favourites 'fell off the face of the earth' however some of the cast members made a name for themselves in other series or television soapies.

Sonia Mbele has been on our small screens as Ntombi on Generations since 2003 up until 2009 and has since starred in other famous productions including; Muvhango, Gold Diggers, Freed and Desire, iNumber Number, Keeping Score, Mr. Bones and God Is African.

Menzi Ngubane has been on our screens way before Generations however his fame grew even more during and after the hit soapie. He got another role on Mzansi Magic's Isibaya. He played the role of Judas Ngwenya,  a ruthless and feared taxi boss from KwaMashu who was ready to leave his mark on the valley.

Sophie Ndaba - Lichaba landed herself a major role in Mzansi Magic's Lockdown and is killing it.

Katlego Danke after departing from the telenovela, she landed another major role on SABC 3's Isidingo. The soap opera ended in March 2020 but the talented actress found another home in Mzansi Magic playing Thathi on Gomora.

The new telenovela has another lead actor however viewers are not to happy about his casting. Playing Caesar Mokwena - the continent's richest banker- disgraced actor Mangaliso Ngema has many questioning why is he still getting gigs but he has sexual abuse allegations hovering over him.

Many believe that he doesn't deserve to be on television until he is proven innocent or cleared. Mangaliso was fired from e.tv's Lithapo following an outcry from beloved actress and television personality Lorraine Moropa, who opened up being sexually harassed by a senior actor on the set of Lithapo. It was later revealed that Mangaliso Ngema was the man accused.
