The whole of Africa was in complete shock but more so, his family was hit even harder than everybody else when the passing of Shona Ferguson took place. His wife, business partner and best friend Connie Ferguson was shattered for a lack of a better word and rightfully so, Shona and Connie Ferguson have been together for almost the rest of their lives.

Connie Ferguson has taken to social media to wish her husband a heavenly birthday and today also marks nine months since the incredible actor and TV producer passed away. Connie Ferguson has coined today as Shona Ferguson Day as Shona would have turned 48 years old.

In a beautiful and heartfelt message, Connie Ferguson has displayed the utmost love and joy for having known and shared her life with Shona Ferguson.

Shona Ferguson's untimely passing was suspected to be suffering from Covid19 and he passed away last December at the Milpark Hospital in Johannesburg. The devastation and shock continued, leading to his his burial which was a private ceremony due to Covid19 restrictions.

Wife Connie Ferguson sent her beloved husband with a beautiful and heartfelt message and it was truly breaking to see the actress and TV mogul being so vulnerable and broken. Taking to social media she broke her silence and penned down the most touching message.

"I’m struggling to process everything that’s going on! It all just feels like a horrible nightmare that I can’t wake up from! I feel like I’m living in a twilight zone!I keep asking God WHY? Why Lord? Please help me understand! I trust you! I trust you to see me and my family through this! Please give me and my family the strength to carry on, and continue our hero’s legacy! Only YOU can!” wrote Connie Ferguson

Having been married for over 20 years, the pair was truly each others soulmates. Both Shona and Connie Ferguson were all about work and never about drama. They have been the most loved and respected couple in the whole of Africa and even beyond. In the same message, Connie continued to pour her heart out to her late husband.
