The Former Miss Earth Botswana who has a very keen interest in everything around environment conservation will be taking part in the Miss New Zealand which is slated for May. The young and beautiful personality will be contending for the title with other beautiful women and she has also confirmed her entry into the prestigious beauty pageant.

We wish her all the best as many other beautiful things unfold for her in New Zealand. The land seems to be giving her the most and she has big scoring big ever since she left to that side. However, she will be battling it out with other Queens from the rest of Africa.

According to the organizers, “The beauty pageant was founded as a result of the need to promote inner beauty and to seek global advancement of the young African woman in New Zealand. Miss & Mr Africa New Zealand (MANZ) is an organisation that prepares young African women and men for a better future by inspiring in them a pride for their heritage and culture.

The pageant steer's away from the norms that are present in society by highlighting the intelligence, capability and determination of these women and men. It will be a showcase of African talent, culture, heritage, fashion, music, art and beauty.”

She recently relocated to New Zealand and has continued her advocacy for the environment inspired by her love for conserving nature. The former Miss Earth Seneo Perry and a model at heart have also continued her passion as a model. The beauty queens seem to be busy in New Zealand. After relocating she shared with Tswalebs about tapping into the modeling industry of Australia.

“My passion for modeling came when I was still very young. I was always persuaded to join pageantry, and I did in high school back in 2011. I joined Miss Rainbow High School in my first year of secondary school and won the title against form 5s and higher.

I continued to take my craft seriously and in 2019 I joined Miss Earth, made it to the top 5, and scooped Best Project. In 2020 I won the Miss Earth Botswana title. In all this I had always hoped to model for big fashion clothing lines like Balenciaga even though Botswana does not have a big market for modeling for such brands, I knew that someday it will happen,” she said.

“I got hooked under an acting and modeling agency called Sharon Power (New Zealand and Australian Based) and signed up with her at the beginning of March. From then till last month things have been a bit slow in our industry due to New Zealand being in the red light (COVID related) and there were many restraints for the modeling and acting industry especially for auditioning.”

Luck has always been on her side since day one she got in New Zealand as brands were contacting her to work with her. She also wished to continue her modeling career when she gets to New Zealand and she is living that dream.
