Batswana are so excited for this one and can hardly hold in their excitement.

The Botswana Gazette, said, people will get a front row seat at Samantha Mogwe’s first virtual acoustic show this year. The show is called “Acoustic Show with Samantha Mogwe,” and is gonna be live on Instagram tonight at 8pm.

Speaking on the show, Samantha said, “The show will feature some of her classic songs and new music from an upcoming EP,” Kabelo Rapinyana of Mogwe’s management team told Time Out, “We were inspired to stage this show so that her music may enjoy her new works safely. Artists have not been doing much work in this COVID-19 era and we have now embraced the new normal of staging virtual shows.”

Kabelo also said, “The cherry on top will be the debut performance of her unreleased song titled ‘Marang.’ She is currently working on her new EP that will be released before the end of this year and will feature other local music groups. It has been a while since she staged an intimate show and she never disappoints.”

Sammie said when it comes to composing songs, it depends on how the instrument that was sent to you makes you feel. “When it comes to writing music, when you listen to songs, songs that are written in a key with minor scales are usually very emotive and sad and so what often happens is that when people write their music you will realise that a lot of the sad songs come in minor keys. Major keys are usually happier songs. So I listen to where the instrument is taking me.

Samie has opened up about her snatched body after having her baby. She did however admit that exercising from home was hard for her with Covid taking over the world but she has been doing really well. She also has people that keep her accountable when she defaults on her exercises.
Samie's song Transition was inspired by a lot of things inspired by. She said, "When I wrote that song it was a very very difficult time in my life. A lot of people think it’s about heartbreak, in terms of relationship yamjolo. It is not about go jola. It is actually about heartbreak from losing a loved one to death…it was a song that I needed to write to heal.
