Vee Mampeezy Teams Up With Mophato On New Video

Botswana's most-loved house-kwasa sensation Vee Mampeezy is working on a new music video and for the video, he has teamed with the internationally acclaimed dance troupe, Mophato Dance Theatre and filmmaker Jack Bohloko.

The award-winning artist shared on Twitter an image of himself and his collaborators who are all equally talented. 
  
"Its such a beautiful thing to see this much talent in one picture  VEE MAMPEEZY, MOPHATO AND JACK BOHLOKO have collaborated to bring you one of the best videos to ever come out in the country.. The unity and the energy is what makes it beautiful GLORY TO GOD," shared Vee Mampeezy. 
  
Vee Mampeezy shared that his song is about to bring happiness in the country, with the release of his new song which is produced by Jazzman/DJ Bino and mixed by DR Tawanda.

Vee was born and bred in Hukuntsi village in the Kgalagadi District in Botswana, he is one of the most successful artists to come out of the country. 
  
Vee is also called kgosi ya stratla, Mpinche, and king of Kwaito kwasa by his beloved fans. 
 
The 36-year-old legendary artist bagged a nomination at this year's 2020 African Musik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) for the Best Male Southern Africa category. he is the only Botswana artist to make the nominations list. 
 

The AFRIMMAs cater to every musical genre, including but not limited to Afrobeats, Assiko, Bongo, Decale, Funana, Genge, Highlife, Hiplife, Kwaito, Lingala and Soukous is respected and the only of its kind to celebrate Africa and her artists.  

AFRIMMA 2020 is going to be an experience to remember, ever with a full weekend of activities lined up, from the welcome party, fashion show, meet and greet sessions, red carpet, award ceremony, music festival and the much-anticipated after-party. Vee has worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry. In 2019, he released Dumalana, a song featuring Zimbabwean artist Dr Tawanda, the song has over two million views on YouTube. Another Zimbabwean artist that Vee has featured is Jah Prayzah.
