The 36-year-old actor is famous for his debut on Muvhango as Seretse, he also made appearances on shows like Generations the legacy. The star previously worked at one of the media schools at Limkokwing University of Creative Technology as a Head of Faculty.

He stunned many when he entered the television industry after being cast for a role on Muvhango. Prior, he was spotted in Orange Botswana ad and has also worked with an acting television show known as Signed International. The show used to air on Botswana television on weekends. Dichi is also a model who modeled for big brands like Room 52.

In 2019, there was a Presidential Initiative with Steve Harvey. The tycoon and film and television guru came to Botswana on a presidential call to meet Bw creatives. Steve Harvey vowed to take some of the media creatives under his wings. Upon his luck, he was chosen alongside Neo Skillo Aabobe a television and radio presenter. The duo was to do an internship in Steve Harvey’s popular show, Family Feud. However, he concurrently did his job alongside his role on Muvhango. Something he said was one of the lights of his career.

Taking followers back to when he joined Muvhango in 20a9 in an interview with Weekendpost he said when he auditions he had no idea he was applying for the show. He only realized this later.

Like most people, I found out about word of mouth (Muvhango Production Company) auditions on social media, and right away I shared it with my other friends so I can have the motivation to attend the auditions. The auditions took place at access tv for almost the whole day although it was not clear that we were auditioning for roles in Muvhango as they had just stated they are looking for actors, dancers, and singers for a Disney production,” he said.

He further highlighted that after being on the line for some time he got his turn to go inside and show his talent alongside his friend who was to perform the audition script with him.

“We did our take in front of the producer Mr. Duma Ndlovu and Muvhango actor Dingaan Khumalo. As soon as we were done performing they asked me if I can grow a beard and to expect a call to come to Johannesburg and audition for a role there. Obviously, I was excited to know that they saw something they like in me,” he recalled.

Three weeks later I got a call and together with 9 other actors, we boarded a bus to SABC to audition for 2 roles in Muvhango. We got picked up at park station and as soon as we got to SABC studios, we changed wardrobes and auditioned on the set of Muvhango. The next day I was told I got a role and will be staying to shoot in 2 days.”

I am playing a lawyer by the name of Seretse born and raised in Botswana. Like me, he was raised by his grandparents and was a responsible young man. I like that the character is strong and takes charge at work and in his personal life. I’m yet to discover his future and excited to find out more about where his story is going.”

Today he is remembered for his acting skills of bringing out the Seretse character with ease and calmness.
