Makhadzi continue to make big moves both in South Africa, Botswana and even beyond. She recently bagged Song of the Year for her hit track “Ganama” with Prince Benza and Favourite Music Artist or Group at the Mzansi Viewer’s Choice Awards.

The star walked home with a wide smile after attaining such a huge milestone in her career. Being amongst the most loved celebrities in the country, she is yet to make another debut in the country, and this time around in the land of Kgatleng.

She tags along the love of her life Master Kg, who is a worldwide known musician and record producer. Master Kg is known for his hit song ‘Jerusalem’. The song hit the whole globe during the Covid-19 surging cases and there were lockdowns everywhere. It kept many people sane and busy at the same time.

The song has currently hit more than 500 million views on YouTube. The Limpopo star will also be heading to Thamaga for the star studded event where he will also be performing.

The much loved and celebrated Prince Benza will also be tagged along in this event. He is known for making beats like the award winning song styled ‘ghanama’. The South African native is also well known in the entertainment industry and has been doing quite well alongside Makhadzi, King Monada and many other renowned artists in South Africa.

Local acts include big artists like Vee Mampeezy, Amantle Brown, Dr Vom, Franco and many other renowned acts in the country. This will go down as one of the biggest shows in the country as local and international acts will be shutting down the independence season in Botswana.

Many people are anticipating this event in the country and they cant wait to have a blast in the land of Thamaga.

“Growing up in Thamaga, the village deeply influenced his life. His story is one that can be retold so many times but he has the village to credit for his success in the music scene today. During the early years of his career, DJ Ngwazi was just an unknown DJ performing at Kings Bar in Thamaga. Because of that, he was unable to release a solo album

Kumnandi Ekhaya is a Zulu expression meaning ‘It is nice at home’ and unlike the biblical prodigal son, DJ Ngwazi is a proud man who returns to his childhood sweetheart, which is Thamaga, in order to convey his fond relationship with the village.

He left Thamaga to South Africa to pursue his musical dreams, and with this festival he is capturing his relationship with the place that built him into the great artiste he is today,” read a statement from the event organisers.
