It's only been 9 months since Shona Ferguson passed away and it's only been a first time that Connie Ferguson and family celebrated his birthday without him. In that order, Connie Ferguson hosted a day filled with love, activities and all the good things to celebrate and commemorate Shona Ferguson this year. Taking to social media, Connie Ferguson has penned down a heartfelt note to his late husband Shona Ferguson.

"Ma Dude, this life thing is just not the same without you! I have stopped trying to understand or asking why? But nine months later, it still doesn’t feel real. My whole life feels like a dream. To say I miss you would be the biggest understatement! To go from doing absolutely EVERYTHING with someone, and suddenly not have them there with you physically, is the most crippling feeling to say the least!" wrote Connie Ferguson

Connie Ferguson has expressed how it has been rather a difficult time without Shona Ferguson around anymore. She speaks about how days and nights are so long without him, time and again she wonders why her, why did God take her husband but as a faith based woman, Connie Ferguson believes in God and all his choices upon us.

"Days are long, nights are long, but time seems to have stood still! It’s difficult to put into words how life feels without you around. I’m still learning to walk again, to smile, to laugh! Times are hard but God is very present in my life. I’m still able to get up in the morning and do what needs to be done. All glory to Him! I keep asking myself how and remember His words in Isaiah 41:10" wrote Connie Ferguson

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
I will continue putting all my hope and trust in the Lord, and believe His plans to give me “a hope and a future.” wrote Connie Ferguson

Without Shona Ferguson around, Connie Ferguson has to take things into her own hands. Connie Ferguson had to take care of the family and businesses at the same time. Although nothing has fallen short since Shona Ferguson passed away, Connie has been on top of things ever since. Even though she has been hit hard on social media by trolls but she has kept her head high and trusted that God has her back

"So today we celebrate you my LOVE! A legend, a man who loved without reservation, whose smile lit up the world, with an echoing laugh that melted hearts! A big guy with a big heart, whose sole purpose in life, was to positively impact the lives of those he encountered, in person or remotely! " wrote Connie Ferguson

Shona Ferguson would have turned a beautiful 48 years old this year. And his passing really hit hard the whole nation, but more so his family and Connie Ferguson in particular.
