"The training was so hectic and just at the peak of my fitness, I contracted Covid19 In a meeting and everybody was social distancing and doing everything that we were told to do."

Had it not been for a call, Cassper wouldn't have gone and get tested. "Somehow I caught it and if I wasn't called by the person who tested positive then I wouldn't have known."

The Amademoni hitmaker only experienced mild symptoms. "I just had a little headache and I thought it was from something else so I went and got tested and I found out I was positive."

Nyovest was in isolation for over two weeks and the journey to recovery wasn't easy. "I was isolated for fourteen days.  And on the seventh, it was the only day when it got challenging. I had a hectic fever and my body was all over the place. I was hot and cold. Probably seven days later I was back running in the streets. First I was running I could feel that my chest wasn't okay."

He explains that Covid19 isn't just like any other flu he's had before. "I didn't have all the symptoms and it's worse than just the flu. That's how it affected me personally."

The rapper then added that like many of her peers within the entertainment industry, his income streams were put to a halt. However, he made the decision to continue paying all his workers, despite not having an income. "But as an artist, it took away my livelihood. It took away jobs from the people that are around me. And I made a decision to still pay me, employees, even though no one was working have."

Cassper currently has a brand new album out titled Any Minute Now and has been doing extremely well on the charts. Two singles have already received plaques. Check out Nyovest's full interview with Ebro below.
