South African musician, Cassper Nyovest, has announced that his limited edition Any Minute Now merchandise will officially be dropping this week, most likely on Friday, 16 October 2020. The rapper has been exciting fans with the impending release of his merchandise, which has been request from fans ever since his album released on Friday, 11 September 2020.

Cassper took to Twitter today, 14 October 2020 to make the announcement stating, “New #AmnMerch dropping online this week. Get your money right and don't miss the drop. Very very limited.” The rapper shared another piece of good news with his following – the hard copies of Any Minute Now have also been completed and will be released in-store on Friday, 23 October 2020.

Fans having been getting impatient waiting for the release of his merch, and have been hounding him on social media for weeks. The requests increased after they saw Bonang Matheba had received a package from Cassper’s Family Tree store, which indicated that perhaps celebs were the only ones privy to the collection of branded clothing. The rapper quickly clarified that he had in fact sent Bonang a gift and asked that fans hang tight whilst he sorts out the final touches on his collection. He tweeted, “Yoh!!! Bonang ong plaisitse ka batho!!!  The merch will be available soon, i promise guys!!!! Im making a plan!!!”.

Cassper also advised fans that the merch drop will be a one-time only offering, and basically… if they snooze, they lose! “Collectang macente so long so you don't miss the drop. It’s very very limited edition stuff so yeah… only one drop. Don't say I never warned you.”, he said.

On Tuesday, 22 September 2020, the rapper confirmed that if his fans truly wanted him to drop his merch line, he would be able to release the branded pieces within two or three weeks. After an overwhelming response, with many using the hashtag AMNMerch, Cassper confirmed on Monday, 28 September 2020 that the pieces were currently being manufactured. He tweeted, “Merch being made as we speak just a young item.”

Looks like fans are finally getting what they wanted, and many have already begun speculating what the ‘young item’ could be. Ntokozo Malawi tweeted, “Please don’t let it be a simple hoodie with the album cover, that’s wak yoh”, although another fan responded to the tweet, “Bathong! That’s exactly what I want tho”.
