There is no better time for the music industry in Botswana than now. Artists from different genres are making waves and their presence does not go unrecognised. Last year, there has been a very heated debate on who to look out for in the year 2018/2019 and those mentioned are definitely living up to the masses expectations.

Bursting into the music scene in 2010 at 21 years of age, he was said to be a breath of fresh air for the industry. 

Atlasaona Molemogi stage name ATI, is a nominated artist who has performed alongside JR, DJ Cleo, Scar, EVE, and Mosako. 

 ‘I infuse many genres such as motswako/hip-hop and R n B." He says that he does not wish to confine himself to one genre, as that would hamper his growth as an artist.

He has been consistent with his music and has been releasing music this year to keep fans on his side and has been doing a stellar job.

Hanceford Magapatona famously knows as Han-C is one of the most talked about young artists in the game right now. 

His pure talent and his fresh, flawless voice has earned him a title as one of the best. His music appearance thus far has been nothing but satisfying. Hosting events and bringing out the big dogs to share the stage with him and many others all over Africa, with his Mahalapaye Spring Picnic, his contribution will not go unnoticed.

He also recently blessed his fans with a single Keaikopela to thank them for their continued support.

Multi-award winning artist Amantle Brown is a force to be reckoned with. Real name Amantle Ntshole, has scooped 11 awards with her debut album ‘Sa Pelo’.

The beautiful and talented RnB artist has definitely made her mark in the music scene. She expresses her general life experiences through her music and her storytelling skills are superbly crafted in her music, making her a gem in the industry.

Botswana's attractive and sexy Hip-Hop lyricist and rapper whose undeniable beauty and artistry has made fans fall in love with her. She has encrypted her name in the hearts of Botswana people and continues to do so.

Real name Sarona Motlhagod, her performances leave you mesmerized. Her attire and dance moves catch your attention and her consistency throughout her career has made her an unforgettable force. 

Not to mention her bars. 

Her first appearance in the game was when she collaborated with Scar in his hit single ‘A ke mo khande.’

She continues giving other male emcees a run for their money.

Magdalene “Charma Gal’ Lesolebe is a local artist who started off in a group as a shy lead vocalist for a group called Culture Spears to becoming a solo artist with a mega following. 

Multi-award winning performer does not regret her decision to break away from the group which helped start her career as she is one of the best to ever do it. 

“I have grown to embrace the lessons learnt and love the space I am in at the moment.” 

And we are here for it.
