"The hardest thing about being an upcoming artist in Botswana is actually finding people who are willing to invest in your craft, and that delays everything in terms of you putting out solid projects that could possibly shake up the industry,"
she said.

It is beautiful to see Dato getting features with some of the country's best musicians including Mpho who had a great 2020. Mpho was featured on a song by South Africa's renowned duo the Major League twins Bandile and Banele.

Mpho's music is a mixture of different genres. It can be best described as a fusion of soul, RnB, and African rhythms.

The songstress has shared a stage with a lot of South African artists, the likes of Shekinah, HHP, Freshly Ground, Nunu Ramogotsi, Shanti Lo, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, and Louis Mhalanga.
