The Real Housewives Franchise Expands

And Mpho Merriweather should be the reason it should be in Bots

The Bravo network that has brought the world their favourite string of reality television hits are expanding their reach in Mzansi.

Because the reality television edition of The Real Housewives did so well in Johannesburg and the reception was higher than anticipated, the people at Bravo have decided to spread the energy to Durban.

Unfortunately, the franchise has not discovered that the drama is right here in Bots.

Our very own Botswana native, Mpho Merriweather debuted on The Real Housewives of Johannesburg and maybe, there should be a Real Housewives  right here in our own backyard.

Born in Molepolole, Botswana and adopted in early childhood, Mpho was raised in a multicultural diverse environment.

Mpho has became Botswana’s first female jewellery designer for De Beers and as a media personality, jewellery designer, entrepreneur, Mpho is also big in other skills such as marketing, advertising, branding, sales, fashion and events.  So if there are big personalities and even bigger boss woman in Botswana- why not add Botswana to the list of Real Housewives area codes?

According to Phil Mphela, a trusted Entertainment reporter and commentator posted the news on his Twitter, early yesterday afternoon.
He seems to be in love with the idea and frankly, he isn't the only one. Fans of the Johannesburg franchise are also jumping on this train to see what drama could unfold from the housewives of Durban.
Looks like the people have spoken , Andy.

South Africa is 100% behind the Bravo franchise expanding and there is a high expectation for the Durban housewives to show off their riches, spilling the tea and bringing the drama.

But how does Botswana petition for a spin off of their own?
