No one can refuse to acknowledge that the continent is a resource paradise. Africa's natural resources include diamonds, sugar, salt, gold, iron, cobalt, uranium, copper, bauxite, silver, petroleum, cocoa beans, arable land, water, natural gas, forests, and wildlife. However apart from its natural resources, the continent is home to a huge number of extraordinarily talented people. The resources and natural talent are unrivaled from West Africa to South Africa and everywhere in between.

This article focuses on the undiscovered talent in Uganda, Africa's Pearl.

Azawi

Popularly known by the moniker Azawi, whose real name is Priscilla Zawedde, was born and raised in Kampala, Uganda's capital. Azawi began writing and performing music for fun while still in high school, but her formal musical career as a dancer began in 2015. She was a member of a band before signing as a solo artist in 2019. Azawi has since released a couple of hit songs, which have nearly four million views on YouTube. She is unquestionably on her way to becoming one of Africa's most prominent musical figures.

An Known Prosper

Ntege Dalton, also known as An Known Prosper, was born and brought up in Entebbe, Uganda. He is a contemporary R&B songwriter, lyricist, and guitarist who has gained popularity not only in Uganda but throughout East Africa. The musician rose to prominence in 2019 with his hit single 'Doctor,' and he has completely taken over the entertainment scene.  Even though he is only 24 years old, An Known Prosper has amassed a sizable fanbase and is poised to soar even higher.

Zex Bilangilangi

Mayega Tadeo, better known as Zex Bilangilangi, is a musician and social activist who began performing when he was 17 years old. Zex was born and raised by a low-income family in Kamwokya, a slum in Uganda's capital. He frequently rubs shoulders with industry legends such as Bobi Wine, and he uses his music to raise public awareness and influence positive change in the country's poor and ghetto areas. The singer has promised that a 30-song album will be released this year, and fans can't wait to hear the bangers.

Liam Voice

Last but not least on our list is Zisabusolo Willy, also known as Liam Voice. While still in high school, the singer began his music career by competing in singing competitions and talent shows. Liam, 24, has also released two albums that have charted at the top of the Ugandan and East African music charts. In 2021, he was named 'Breakthrough Artist of the Year' at the Hipipo's Awards, and he can only get better this year.
