The seasoned actor is no stranger to serving his fans with motivational messages on his Instagram account and today on 09 April 2021, he has decided to address men in general.
With the world facing the pandemic of gender-based violence, femicide, and men lacking support towards their women, Shona called on men to support their women and love them wholeheartedly.

In a post, he encouraged them to give women full access to their bank accounts because their queens deserve everything in the world, "Pray for women, respect women, love women, praise women, support women, listen to women, listen to women, encourage women, and lastly give your woman full access to your bank account. Yes, that last one is just as important. She deserves and more. Mxm let's see you carry a baby 9 months," he wrote.

Connie is behind him 100% especially on the "bank account access" part.

@ferguson_films - Class is in session! School them wena SKAT!๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพโค๏ธ Itโ€™s all of them for me!๐Ÿคž๐Ÿพ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿพ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ˜‡โค๏ธ

@ferguson_films - Let me elaborate on that last point. Doing so is the biggest sign of good faith and complete trust. The woman gets to appreciate the lack or the excess. The lack says letโ€™s work harder and build together! The excess says letโ€™s work harder and multiply and empower as we have been empowered! None of this says be reckless and irresponsible! Not at all!๐Ÿ˜ฌโค๏ธ

Shona is married to SA actress and media mogul Connie Ferguson. In 2001 the couple got hitched and they have since remained inseparable. The two have a daughter together, Alicia, and have raised Connieโ€™s daughter Lesedi, from her first marriage together. The couple renewed their vows in a star-studded ceremony in 2011 and it was a beautiful affair. This year they will be celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary and we look forward to it.

In 2011 they launched their production company, Furgeson Films.  The company has produced multiple hit series for Mzansi Magic, which includes Rockville, iGazi, The Gift, The Throne, The Herd, The Queen, and The Imposter. The couple often acts in their own productions, for example, Connie played the role of Mavis Mabaso on Rockville and is the female lead in The Queen

The couple has both been winning in their respective careers. Connie recently made the list of 100 Forbes African Icons for the Forbes Africa magazine's 100th issue, and we couldn't be more proud of her.

Speaking to Forbes Africa she said the biggest highlights in her career have been portraying three TV roles.

"My highlights as an actor have been my time at Generations, a show that allowed me the opportunity to build my brand, my role as Mavis in Rockville, our debut show as executive producers, and my current role as Harriet Khoza in The Queen. Although the different awards received over the years are humbling and appreciated, the loyal fans and viewers that diligently follow and appreciate my work are who make it all worthwhile, said Connie.
