There is a trend that is seemingly on the rise whereby black people who are in positions of power and influence have gone about creating opportunities for family members. This proves to be imperative because it could ensure that the family business is run by its members.
Connie and Shona Ferguson are, of course, some of the more successful Tswana that have made inedible strides within the entertainment industry in South Africa, with their television production powerhouse, Ferguson Films. Almost any actor or crew member would give anything just to be assimilated with such prestige in the Arts.
A family that has joined forces with the senior Ferguson's is none other than their daughter, Lesedi Matsunyane. The BA Live Performance graduate recently, made her debut on the Ferguson Films flagship drama series, The Queen on South Africa's most loved television channel Mzansi Magic.
Lesedi Matsunyane is not new to our television screens, as she has cut her teeth in acting before. The multi faceted young actress can be found working as a cast co-ordinator as she wears numerous hats within the Arts.
Loyal fans of The Queen are seemingly impressed with her acting abilities as they are yearning to watch how her character grows within the show.
