The Relationship Between SK Khoza And Gogo Maweni

Best known for featuring in some of South Africa's series including The Queen and Kings of Jo’Burg, Sthembiso “SK” Khoza is one of the finest actors in Mzansi who came to the limelight about a decade ago after landing a presenting job on Channel O.

Besides having a great on-screen personality, SK Khoza’s personal life is another thing that has also kept the star’s name relevant especially in recent times when he has been involved in some very spicy scandals.

Here is a look at SK Khoza’s relationship with the famous South African traditional healer-turned-reality star- Gogo Maweni.

Details of how and when SK Khoza and Gogo Maweni met and how long they dated have not been disclosed, but the two got a son out of their relationship and he is one of Gogo Maweni’s three children.

A couple of years ago, SK Khoza and Gogo Maweni dominated tabloid headlines after Gogo Maweni dragged the heartthrob actor for allegedly failing to provide child support for his son.

In recent times, SK Khoza has been going through a rough patch and he has been dominating headlines for all the wrong reasons. From being fired from the set of The Queen, being tangled up in physical abuse accusations by his ex-fiance, having a very public meltdown, and his s*x tape being leaked- his woes seem to be endless.

And while a few of his fans seem to understand that the actor might have been going through dark times, some seem to blame his woes on SK Khoza’s baby mama whom they believe cursed him.

To support their speculations, tweeps even dug up an old post by Gogo Maweni where in response to being asked if she had baby daddy issues, she rubbished the claim saying that she had left her baby daddies in the arms of her ancestors and that if her kids didn’t eat then neither would their fathers.

As soon as the allegations about using muthi on her baby daddy came up, Gogo Maweni took to the press to clear her name. 

Speaking in an interview at Gagasi FM, SK Khoza’s baby mama revealed that she was shocked at what was happening to SK Khoza and that she had never seen him like that before. She also reaffirmed that she didn’t wish any ill will on the father of her child.

In May 2022, the Kings of Jo’burg star left fans confused when he posted photos of himself with an unknown woman and a baby on Instagram. 

A rumour that the woman was SK Khoza’s baby mama and the child was his immediately emerged and an old rumour that SK Khoza had sired a child with another woman while he was engaged to Ayanda Hlongwane resurfaced.

The rumour was spun round and round and one publication even claimed that the actor had introduced and paid lobola for his baby mama in February 2022. This was after SK Khoza posted more photos of the child with his mother on Instagram.

In a lengthy post, SK Khoza denied having paid lobola for anyone and asked tabloids to call him first if they have any questions about his love life rather than publishing wrong information.
