Botswana’s Shona Ferguson announced his latest partnership with Dove’s Men’s Care in an Instagram post shared today, 13 October 2020. The campaign, titled, #DadsCareChallenge, calls for dads to showcase the various ways they bond with their kids. Shona stated, “I love connecting with my kids and @dovemencare challenged me to show you what we get up to - and I don't think I did too badly for my first time, what do you think? Thanks @dovemencare for the #DadsCare Challenge and allowing us to make such wonderful memories.”
The video showcased him getting a drum lesson from his youngest daughter, Alicia Ferguson, who appeared to be rather musically inclined. Ali effortlessly played a beat for her father, which she hoped he would be able to replicate. What seemed quite simple for Ali, turned out to be the opposite for Shona, as he struggled to grasp the names of each drum. Slowly but surely he followed Ali’s sequence, and was able to deliver a basic beat on their drum set.
Ali Ferguson has been providing her famous parents with extramural lessons recently, as she also gave her mom, Connie Ferguson, a masterclass on dance. The actress may be 50-years-old but that does not mean she does not know a thing or two about today's modern dance moves, well that's all thanks to her youngest daughter Alicia.
Connie shared a video of herself and her daughter in September 2020, following their gym session. The video, the mother and daughter duo broke dance in a mini dance celebration. In the video, Ali can be heard instructing her mother on what do to perfect the dance move. The duo dance along to Bella Ciao, which is from the EP Money Heist by Tyler ICU and Nicole Elocin, which consists of 13 tracks.
Alicia this year turned 18 and her father, actor and producer Shona Ferguson took to social media to pen a heartfelt message to his "miracle baby". "True story - Doctors told me I could never have children of my own. GOD had other plans because he knew I needed you. My miracle baby. Daddy loves you more than you will ever know. I was right there when you came into this world and I will always be there whenever you need me," he wrote.
The couple's daughter has been caught the teacher for her parents always making sure they are up to date with all things pop culture, amapiano dance moves, and now even drums!
