Media personality, Lerato Sengadi, took to Instagram on Saturday, 24 October 2020 to share her feelings towards the month of October, which remains a bitter-sweet time for the wife of late rapper, HHP. The widow shared an image of herself and her husband on set of real talk, captioned by an emotional revelation which talked about why she does not look forward to her birthday month.

Born on the 31st of October, next Saturday will see Lerato turning 38 years old. Whilst most would be looking forward to their birthday, she acknowledged the fact that her husband had passed away during this month as well on the 24th of October 2018.

With the post paying tribute to the second anniversary of the legendary rapper’s death, Lerato stated, ““As” by Stevie Wonder says it all. October will always be bitter sweet. It is the month that the world gained me and the month I lost my world. Motho waka, Lerato la pelo yaka, I miss u every single second, of every single day... and it will be so until we are reunited. Ke go rata ka mmele, pelo le moya. (Sidebar: Nna le Motho waka were always so oulik. Tjeeerrrr! Bona fela!”.

Lerato referenced Stevie Wonder’s emotional song, As, in her post, as she claimed it represented the love they had for one another. Some of the lyrics include:

As around the sun the earth knows she's revolving

And the rosebuds know to bloom in early may

Just as hate knows love's the cure

You can rest your mind assure

That I'll be loving you always

As now can't reveal the mystery of tomorrow

But in passing will grow older every day

Just as all that's born is new

You know what I say is true

That I'll be loving you always

Lerato Sengadi has always kept her hubby's memory alive by partaking in various activities to honour his memory. For his 40th birthday, which took place on Monday, 14 September 2020, Lerato slaughtered a goat and made African beer in his honour to appease his ancestors she then later headed to a celebration brunch in Jabba's honour held by HomeComing Events. The PR guru then also shared a post on Instagram dedicated to her late husband, where she shared a clip of HHP performing to a packed crowd.
