Also known as GG, she is the last in her family of two and has always had her parents support from a tender age. In spite of being so young, she set up her leading initiative and nearly 15 years ago and she is still and will always be the brain behind and the Executive Director of the Gogontlejang Phaladi Pillar of Hope Project (GPPHP).
Being the Founder and Executive Director of the Gogontlejang Phaladi Pillar of Hope Project which she established in the year 2000 when she was 5 years old, meant her foundation had earned itself a name and it’s no stranger to many people.
Through her organization and charitable foundation, she has identified and reached out to the needy by donating food, clothing and financial assistance to the vulnerable. She also does education and training as well as empowerment sessions for people to progress in life. She also run programs for human rights and advocacy.

Having built a very firm personality at a very tender age, when she was only 12 years old, she was the youngest speaker during the World AIDS Day Commemoration held the Botswana National Stadium. At the age of 17 years she was the youngest Radio Presenter in Botswana and one of the few women who were political reporters.
According to Botswana Youth Magazine, GG is a member of several development committees including the UNESCO National Youth Sub commission- Botswana, Patron of the Botswana Youth Water Action Team, Member of the Protect The Goal Campaign Botswana Taskforce, CONDOMIZE Campaign Education Anchor and a Youth Ambassador with UNFPA Botswana Country office.
This was her words when her mother was hit by a drunkard. “When something bad and tragic happens to you, first thing you think of is revenge especially in a road crash when you are not at fault. Obviously, I’d want justice to be served, perpetrators never be allowed to drive a car, but there is a lot of irresponsibility on the roads in Botswana. Most often we are taught to just get a license but not to really drive responsibly”.
