Frost Legato Focuses On Celebrating His Daughter

It’s been a hard month

Botswana’s Frost Legato is still trying to deal with the loss of his girlfriend, Zibo Bantsi, who passed away on Thursday, 1 October 2020, after experiencing complications whilst giving birth to their daughter. Zibo was put into a medically induced coma shortly after the birth, but sadly did not make it. Zibo was survived by her baby girl, Azha Nthati Bantsi who she left in the care of her partner, Frost Legato and mother Sami Bantsi.

As Frost tries to deal all that has occurred in the past few weeks, he took time on Friday, 16 October 2020 to acknowledge and celebrate his daughter’s one-month birthday. He tweeted, “My daughter's 1 month old today.”, with an in love emoji. On Sunday, 11 October 2020, Frost shared another update about his baby, claiming that she is constantly sleeping. He stated, “All this hun does is sleep but I love her with everything yoh.” 

The new father has been scarce on social media as her tries to find his way throughout parenthood without the help of his beloved Zibo, however Zibo’s mother is expected to be helping him deal with his transition into a dad whilst coming to terms with his grief. 

Shortly after Zibo’s passing, in a post he shared on social media Frost, said what comforts him is that when  her daughter wants to know her mom she will go on Youtube and see how amazing she was ,"The one thing that gives me some comfort is that when our little one wants to know her mummy all she has to do is get on YouTube and get to experience how amazing her mom was," he shared.

Fans immediately began sharing messages of support with him, reminding him that Zibo’s legacy will live on through his daughter, and on the internet. Natsasha replied to his post and wrote "Feel every emotion, scream if you have to......WISHING you so much healing and strength to raise your babygirl. Gomotsega ngwana wa ko gae re go beile mo dithapelong."
Arinyana wrote "I was thinking this maabane! Its soo sad but at least she can hear her mums voice and see what a beautiful, carefree, loving, fun person she was!  Also save em in a hard drive."
