Nami is one of our favorite celebrity kids in Botswana, and it's easy to see why. She continues to capture peoples' hearts on social media thanks to her cuteness.

Nami celebrated her second birthday yesterday, and the celebration was nothing short of amazing. In honor of their daughter's birthday party, Marang and Dipsy Selolwane threw a stunning event. It is unbelievable that just yesterday Nami was a newborn and now she is 2 years old.


It was a family and friend-packed birthday party for the toddler. In a post on social media, Marang thanked God for Nami's life and expressed their love for her.

Nami recently started her swimming lessons and her mother is on cloud nine. In an effort to keep Kairo safe, the doting mother takes all the necessary measures. Marang  is not taking any chances when it comes to the safety of her child, as she opted for a professional swimming coach to teach her daughter how to swim.

Nami celebrated her 1st birthday on Tuesday, 29 September 2020, and was doted on by her parents on social media. In an Instagram post which commemorated the day, Marang stated, “29/09/2019 at 17:59 we welcomed this angel girl of ours!" She posted. "It’s been a whole year since we were blessed with our beautiful Nami and we count those blessings every day. NamNam is the happiest baby we know, ever laughing, ever smiling. An absolute joy!"

Gushing over her beautiful daughter, Marang wished that she could have these moments forever. "We wish we could freeze these moments forever but each and everyday day with her is a priceless present for us."

Nami’s parents have quite the influence in Botswana. Both are in the limelight and have stolen the hearts of many people with their boss moves. The couple got married this year and they are going strong.

Marng is best known as the host for Mantlwaneng on Botswana TV. She recently appeared on MTV Shuga as the only Botswana-born actor. The former child star hails from Serowe Palapye but grew in Gaborone. She later graduated in drama from the University of Pretoria as well as the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa.The 29-year-old shares her daughter with former Botswana soccer legend Dipsey Selolwane. The couple has been together for almost five years.
