Menzi Ngubane's legacy continues. The veteran SA actor was well known for being passionate about tackling social issues young man faces through his program The boy Mentorship, which was aimed at empowering young men to become a better version of themselves.

Through his Instagram account, his family has confirmed that the program will continue to honor the good work the actor did. "The Boy Mentorship with Menzi Ngubane continues as per Menziβs wishes to create a safe environment for girls & women. He always referred to the fact that his daughters are really important to him, & that a safe space, where boys treat women and girls like queens, is highly necessary."
In partnership with the Bright spark Foundation, his daughter Siya will take part in the program to ensure that attitude and behavioral changes in boys, a topic that was close to her father's heart continues to be tackled.
"Attitude & behavioral changes in boys was a topic close to his heart! To see this through he started a boy Mentorship programme. His daughter Siya, has committed to ensuring that her fatherβs legacy continues & is, therefore, part of this program, in partnership with the Bright Spark Foundation #brightsparkfoundation. Weβll communicate details on how to be included in this program in due course," reads the post.
Menzi Ngubane succumbed to a stroke in March and his passing left a huge in the SA acting industry. His family suffered a double tragedy in March as just a few days after his passing, his father died. His wife penned a moving letter to pay tribute to him which left brought tears to everyone at his funeral.
"You promised me that we will be together until we are 100 years but you broke that promise. I am so lost without you. We had so many plans Dali, uthi ngenze njani manje (my love, what must I do?
"Thank you for loving me, you made me feel so special. You have set the bar so high no man will be able to reach it. I am broken and it will take time to go back, I doubt I will ever be the same again," she said.
Before his passing Menzi had landed a role on The Queen, the producer of the show expressed how heartbroken she was after his departure. In a post on Instagram, Connie Ferguson said, "Ngubs!!!πππ This is too much!π May God give Sike and the Ngubane family strength and courage to deal with this loss!ππΎ You are in our prayers!ππΎ I am seriously at a loss!π₯² #ripngubs πππ As legends never die, you live on in our hearts and your amazing library of work!ππΎππΎππΎβ€οΈ."
