Botswana-born, Shona Ferguson, has been sharing some shady posts lately which seem to indicate that there has been some unrest in his life. Whilst he hasn’t been explicit in what he is talking about, his words have shown that perhaps someone has wronged him and his family, and has left him wanted to clear out any negative energy as soon as possible!

His most recent most shared on Tuesday, 17 November 2020, saw him advising his followers to ‘clean house’ which was a metaphor for removing negative people from your life. He stated, “It’s time to clean house, your life that is. Clear out your contact list. If they only call you when they need something, delete. Remove yourself from people who are constantly talking about others. #Bommaleakage #Gossipers. Unfollow all these negative people with professional, hater degrees, then block all these energy vampires. Stop the victim mentality. Your life, your responsibility. No on owes you anything. Now that the slate is clean, FOCUS! Start over now or live to regret it. Positive mind, positive life. Uncle Sho.”

His followers seemed to take to heart his motivational words and chose to ask further questions in the comment section. Merlyn Banda asked him what he would do if the negative people were a part of his family, to which he responded with, “Family is not exempt. Whatever and whoever is not good for your soul, you need to save yourself. You can love them from a distance. Distancing yourself doesn’t mean you hate them.”

Shona has been using his social media to subliminally talk about things that have recently been on his mind. In a recent post, it looked like he was talking about rumours surround Cindy Mahlangu being fired and rehired, much like many of the other Ferguson Films cast and crew.

Shona shared a quote from Criss Jami, highlighting that a rumour is social cancer and that it is difficult to pinpoint where the information communicated might have gone south.

"A rumor is a social cancer: it is difficult to contain and it rots the brains of the masses. However, the real danger is that so many people find rumors enjoyable. That part causes the infection. And in such cases when a rumor is only partially made of truth, it is difficult to pinpoint exactly where the information may have gone wrong."
