In a year that has been filled with struggles and strife due to the coronavirus pandemic, Samantha Mogwe has attempted to restore some faith in her followers, who may be feeling like it has all been too much. As an entertainer in Africa, Samantha is amongst the many others who have seen a significant loss of income, allowing her to vouch for the advice she has shared with her fans.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, 4 November 2020, Samantha stated, “2020 has been a defining year. Some have flourished but unfortunately, many have stumbled through this year and are barely holding on by a thread. I just want to encourage you to keep your faith! Keep your faith! Keep your faith! God has brought you this far and He isn’t about to let you fall”.

Friends and supports thanked her for her powerful message in the middle of the week, as many claimed to have needed a ‘pick me up’ during this challenging time. Esnath Keamogetse Masisi commented with, “I really needed this sis, thank you!”.

Perhaps Samantha’s words of motivation were coming from her personal thoughts, as she sure appeared to be getting aggravated on social media for the past few weeks. In a series of Tweets in October 2020, Samantha Mogwe has expressed how frustrated she gets when people do not use an intercom at the gate and opt to hoot. In a tweet, the musician said hooting traumatized her from childhood because she had an aunt who used to hood a lot and it's the pits. A tweep asked her how many times should one ring the intercom to gain access into her place. Samantha said they should not press it twenty times because it is annoying clearly, home girl is not a fan of being annoyed.

Most recently, Samantha appeared to get herself involved in the social media conversation surrounding the USA elections. In a tweet, Samantha said people should not be criticized for weighing in their two cents on the elections and said, they should be given an opportunity to speak out about this in peace and without receiving any backlash.

Her fans commented on her post expressing how they feel and some even went as far as saying the US elections have a tremendous impact on the rest of the world.
