Vee Mampeezy's fans are on their feet following news that the award-winning musician has handed himself over to the police.

Mmegi Online broke the news without giving too many details. Vee has also tweeted saying he is at the Broadhurst  Police Station. In a tweet, the musician wrote "Broadhurst police station is where I'm," accompanied by crying faces emojis.
Scar tweeted that the musician is at the police for questioning and his tweet has set tongues wagging on what might the reason behind his questioning. The musician has been fighting for the entertainment industry lately.

The musician posted a snap with ATI yesterday on Instagram with the caption " Zola today!! 4PM"

Atlasaone Molemogi, affectionately known to many as ATI trended on social media early this year after he was arrested for allegedly photographing the State House, which is an act banned in the country.

His arrest ruffled feathers and scores of fans took to the police station, to call for his release.

Vee recently took to Twitter to slam the Task Force Team for their strict lockdown regulations which see businesses not being able to generate more money and some closing down during these trying times. Vee even went to say that he is bankrupt.

"I would  like to congratulate the TASK FORCE TEAM, ur plan had worked  I'm officially bankrupt, big up to u guys for the good job u are doing  of destroying  Batswana  business, many Batswana companies have closed and people  are jobless!"

"Because of a great job u are doing of not listening to anyone and being stubborn. We are happy for u for making history that will leave Botswana's economy at the lowest,"
he tweeted.

"We respect u for opening the borders, But not letting us see our families saying that going to see my grandmother is a high risk, Wow ur plan of destroying the music industry has worked nicely," Vee added.

The musician said in other countries the economy is open. "It looks like Botswana Covid is the biggest in the world because other countries are trying to easy things but rona re gagamditse, SA has opened the Music industry, Namibia has opened Malawi opened etc...Rona we are still not allowed  to move from zone to zone without permit one more  time for the task force thank u"
