This morning, rappers Focalistic and Costa Titch have been at the very top of the trends list on Twitter.

This comes after one tweep shared a video of Costa Titch dancing and rapping, commending him on his work and little did he know that this would upset many of Focalistic's fans. The Ke Star hitmaker's fans have accused newcomer Costa Titch of trying to copy Foca's style in the track. However, Titch's fans have come to his defence saying that he is at least copying a South African style, unlike those who copy Americans.

Kwesta's infamous former manager Nota has come out in defence of Costa Titch. He is claiming that the attacks made on Costa Tich are coming from a place of jealousy.

"They’re mad that Costa Titch is white and their muthi won’t work on him." He tweeted. "They are trying everything. They are calling everyone. God got him. South Africa will support him.' Nota also made a bold statement and said that Costa's album is the best album is South Africa so far. "Made In Africa is album of the year so far! @costatitchworld congratulations to you and the entire movement!"

Costa Titch is a 25-year-old South African rapper who burst onto the music scene as a dancer. He gained popularity through his first single Ngkalakatha. For the remix, he was able to get AKA and Riky Rick which increased his popularity. He recently dropped his debut album titled Made In Africa to lots of reviews, mainly positive. For the album, he was able to get the likes of DJ Maphorisa, Tshego, Rouge, Franks Casino, AKA and Riky Rick. The album consists of 17 tracks and shot right up the charts on the day of its release.

Focalistic is by far the biggest breakout South African artist of 2020. He gained popularity through the Amapiano movement, featuring on various songs. His vocal performances have always stook out and his lyrics are often quoted. Some of his popular hit records include Sandton and Ke Star.
