Media mogul and TV actress Connie Ferguson and her business partner Joseph Nchabeleng, lost their appeal at the Supreme Court of Appeal recently against cosmetics giant Nivea owners, Beiersdorf Group. Connie's company Koni International Brands, landed itself in hot water in 2017 after it was accused of stealing beauty care giant Niveas's packaging on their collection of men's body care product Connie. Their products were deemed similar to that of the cosmetic giant, from the packaging and it was said that they would deceive consumers.

Connie accused the company of bullying them and they took the matter to appeal that there are similarities in their products at the Supreme Court where they have lost. The court said there are similarities in their products.

Connie Ferguson  graced the cover of many magazines and this time she features on the April 2020 issue of Glamour SA Magazine. People were surprised by the edgier approach they took with styling Connie, as she dorns a bodysuit and leather jacket combo with a bob-cut wig.

Social media, of course, had a lot to say about the cover as Connie Ferguson was trending throughout the weekend. Even former cast-mate from The Queen, Rami joined in the trending conversation and tweeps weren't sure if she was being shady or congratulating.
The Fergusons recently found themselves in hot water with the masses, this follows after Sunday World reported that one of their characters on their show Dineo Langa, has been shown the door after she asked for a hiatus to shoot a film.

Her alleged axing add fuel to the fire and ruffled the feathers of many who said working for them is an extreme sport as they have been notorious for firing actors. This includes the alleged firing of Rami Chuene.

Connie Ferguson has dedicated a post to her critics in September 2020, after facing a startling amount of backlash for her Glamour magazine-cover look. Many said the look was too much for a 50-year-old, but Mrs Ferguson came out to defend herself from the hate. In an Instagram post, she captioned her post: "Where life plants you, bloom with grace.”
