The starlet recently bagged a new character in SABC 3's upcoming show The Estate and she will star as Mmakoena. The Estate is a game-changing gripping premium daily drama that probes the hot-button issues on every South African’s lips: land and identity, corruption, patronage, money (old and new), power, class and equality, all told through a colorful mix of South African families that fight for their space in these topical debates.

The storyline centers around a gated suburban community haven that is Echelon Estate. Beautiful homes line the landscaped green parks of the golf course. There is a clubhouse, a gym, and the entire Estate is surrounded by an 8-meter-high brick wall and tight security.

Dineo had previously starred in The Queen Mzansi but her character was written off. Rumors gained momentum that she was fired but the showrunner Laura Nel told IOL that Dineo Langa had not been fired.

"Dineo's contract was not terminated. She is still on payroll until the end of May. Dineo was released to go and shoot her movie. Scripts had to be rewritten to accommodate this as she was on an 'A' storyline. She was scheduled to return in April, but due to the lockdown, everything has changed."
